The north offers a tremendous sight seeing as the heart of culture in Thailand. Most likely, the north has covered with mountain, forest and rivers that make the weather kind of cold for winter and in the morning for any seasons.
For summer is very hot and humid start from April to July, during this period Thai people will celebrate the Thai New Year festival or it's call Songkran day by rinsing the water mixed with jasmine and original Thai perfume to the respectful people for luck in the morning and splashing the water to each others all day till the dawn, actually, the celebration is through out the country.
Normally, in the evening you can enjoy yourself with beautiful sunset atmosphere. Khantoke dinning style is the authentic cuisine like the a la cart plate, such as fried chicken - num prik num, num prik onk - fried dry pork skin - chicken with red curry - fresh vegetable - lanna sausage - sticky rice, also enjoying the Thai folk dance show.

Being famous in the cultural and artistic tradition such as the local handicraft that they have been doing for numbers of centuries. Local folks and some of hills tribe family have made those handicraft from teak wood, Thai silk, silver ware, lacquere ware, umbrella making. Those are their expertise and you can tell by touching the product which is superb and very neat. |
